This is just great. I was a kid while this was going on.
I was up on politics from my early childhood. I use to enjoy listening to my grandma "debate" politics with her best friend on the party line. If you don't know what a party line is... google it. I didn't hear her friends side of the conversation, but my grandma was something else! They were on opposite sides politically, but that never got in the way of their respect and love for one another. Wish we could do that now.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this. I appreciate seeing the sets and clothes. I love to see shows from the 60's onward. Seeing the things I grew up with through adult eyes gives a new perspective.
I didn't realize there was more than one attempt made and I didn't remember Mrs. Hunt getting killed in an airplane crash. I'm left wondering what happened to their children.
