More than warrior nun, it seems like talking nun
The show feels like it's settling into its self a bit more now that Eva has met up with the rest of the gang. The jokey unlikely hero with unwanted powers gives me a Buffy vibe sometimes and I'm 100% on board with that.
Every so often the dialogue is a bit too mumbling especially from the lead which I'm sure means I'm missing a line here and there. Other than that though, this episode gave me incentive to keep going.
I do not know about this series yet, but Alba Baptista is great. She reminds a lot of Ellen Page in “The Umbrella Academy “.
We had origin episode, plot setup episode, and this was what? I expected some training action so we could get things going. This was completely filler material.
I really don't care that our main character has issues. That isn't what I watch these types of shows for. This better be the only episode where our main character is so pathetic.
