Ricky’s grandma clearing Connie at the beginning was so satisfying. I hate Connie sm.
Carry You by Ruelle and Fleurie playing at the end was a nice treat for me, I love those artists.
But I don’t think I liked this finale as much as the last one. Lots of random heavy hitters in the last few minutes where as the last episode was drama sprinkled throughout! Solid season though. Let’s keep it going!!
I can’t stand Charmaine. As much as I can’t stand cliffhangers. Maybe even less. She’s the typical wicked witch using the children as nuclear weapons to manipulate the father. What’s so hard to understand? NO is NO!! Is she really so hopelessly dumb?!?
And regarding the cliffhangers… screw Netflix. This is the second finale that doesn’t feel as such!
This would be more fun if it were more camp and self-aware.

“I bought the house for the twins not for us” so the twins are gonna live there 24/7 and jack is gonna live in his bar and charmaine in clear river, and they are gonna take turns??? WTF... like they could all live together but in separate bedrooms, like I’ve been saying charmaine and those babies deserve better! And I don’t understand why mel would insert herself in that situation, if a man is so pleased and in a rush to leave his baby mama how can you be comfortable in that relationship?

And for fucks sake... of course there’s A TWIN?!!!! A twin that looks exactly the same (look, outfit, hair, evil vibes), with the same career, and who is as evil and miserable as his twin. Paige’s story feels so overdone!!
I feel like all the violence, abuse, drug trafficking, organized crime has no place in this show! And don’t get me wrong I watch those shows, but it’s as if true detective had a barn wedding and corn festival, yeah I like murder shows, I like harvest weddings but separately! They don’t go together, so what the hell is this show trying to be?
sure hope there's a 3rd season!!!! They can't leave it with Jack shot on the floor!!!!!!

WEAK! Twin brother (that was never mentioned AND is also a cop from FL], over the top cliffhanger(s), cryptic medical issue... twin brother concept is weak in general; what's next, Mel going to wake up pregnant next to Mark, and realize it's all been a bad dream? Jack getting shot is weak, season finale crap. Maybe back in the "who shot JR" era, when the next season was all but guaranteed. But, in today's unstable world of series TV, it's a shitty way to treat us fans. Why's it weak, because if the show is strong enough, it doesn't need cheap antics to bring us back. Even though it's just a "Hart of Dixie" reboot, with some added bad guys, I've stuck around for 2 seasons because I do like the characters/actors. Now, if they just let them get back to carrying the show, and leave the shtick writing to shows with less on-screen talent, I'm sure I'll be here to the end. Rant mode off, peace...
