Slowly but surely getting better. The characters are finally starting to solidify.

It's just not getting better :(.. I hope it will grow, but haven't got much hope for it..
For some reason I really want to like this show but sadly this episode was filled with the awkward interactions again. Episode one had it, two was slightly better, but three had some weird situations again. Not too keen on the whole "clans" and "resistance" cliché either.
How big is the chance that Dylan will be part of the resistance and have the same "power" as her mother? Now stating that IT'S SURE NOW THAT SHE CAN'T BE ALIVE and the little "keep hope" remark... come on, she better be dead after lines like that or it's just too obvious xD
I'll try one more episode but if it triggers me as much as this episode again then it's off the watch list for Van Helsing.

Kind of a filler... a whole episode just so the character could get to the conclusion that we've already reached in episode 1, which is that her blood is special, and that she should try to save the Doc
