UnREAL

Season 3

UnREAL shakes things up and explores gender politics from a new angle in its third season as it directs its satire toward The Bachelorette. Quinn and Rachel take a risk and recruit a high-powered businesswoman as the suitorette for Everlasting and find that making her appealing to her male suitors presents a bit of a challenge; meanwhile Rachel attempts to rescue her father from her abusive and manipulative mother. The performances are especially good; Shiri Appleby in particular really brings her A-game. And, in addition to exploring the gender politics of The Bachelorette, the show also looks at the politics within the network television system and even ventures into some Me Too issues. And the drama is as intense and powerful as ever. One of the most provocative and daring shows on television, Season 3 of UnREAL continues to deliver biting social commentary and compelling stories.
