Under the Bridge 2024

Show starts off ok but by episode 3 it becomes unbearably cringy. There is not a single likable character here. It may be based on true events but those events where not that interesting, original or captivating…

Good show. Sad story. I dont know the real story, but i can see this happening. Unfortunately! You can skip one episode and not miss a thing. Its like they had to just make it longer. Once again, though, hollywood has to put homosexuals in place for no reason whatsoever!

I stopped halfway through episode 3 and won't be continuing. Everyone talking about how cringe it is are spot on. The fact this is rated so high (currently 71%) is baffling.

This show is difficult to watch at times as there are so many poor decisions being made and sad circumstances that cannot be avoided. Without being preach-y it manages to highlight the plights of immigrants who are being discriminated against, Natives who have had their identity stripped presumably from boarding schools, closeted queers existing in the 80s and 90s, troubled white teens, and the criminal justice system. It's dark, but Riley, Lily, and Vritika bring strong performances I can't look away.

From reading about it, the true story is very far from what we saw here. A lot of things have changed because they do not fit the television narrative and the drama.
Beyond the good acting from Cam the show was mediocre and too long for episodes and number. A lot of unnecessary stuff, the relationship of the writer and the boy was creepy also very stupid in terms of trusting him too much.

The girl was pure evil and the sentence was a joke (although apparently not real).
Anyway, nothing so spectacular or memorable.
