Missing an eye apparently does not impede your ability to shoot accurately. Also, wounds seem to heal fast, not just for an eye, but for legs stabbed multiple times just a few days back, so you can conveniently outrun anyone. You'll need every molecule of air after the chase, so you can swim across the Thames without surfacing, with a backpack carrying your what, 15-20 kg gear.

I'm enjoying season 2, but Ryan had many opportunities to shoot and decided to wait until the last moment. That's just not very believable to me.
