Holy hell, what a nightmare of an episode! Ever imagined if Batman had snapped? Well, this episode depicts it pretty clearly, and a fucked up Batman is not someone you'd want to be messing with.
Clearly, this was some sort of a filler episode, but I see it as an alternate telling of events, like they do in the comics. It was Titans darkest episode to date, it was exciting and brutal, and a fine sample of what kind of show Titans aims to be.
Another filler episode... Just stick to the main story line.
OH WOW!!! this was everything every DC fans ever wanted. they left us on cliffhanger for sure. Season 2 will be awesome. super excited for it!
I hate this type of episode. It was mental masturbation. 90% of the episode was a waste. It was kinda cool watching Batman kill all those cops but it was all in Dick's head.
Great episode on its own, absolutely horrendous episode for a season finale.
Crazy wind of an episode. Even though it was clear that it wasn't 'real' it didn't stop it being dark. Anyone who knows DC knows that no matter how dark Batman gets, he never kills. So it was a powerful concept to shake up.
Not sure where they're going with Trigon but that after credits scene had me smiling!
Conner and Krypto! But which Conner are we getting I wonder? Coz there were some shaky times over the years ;)
Wow just wow. I was stunned by the darkness of this episode. I knew it was some type of test for Dick and it wasn't real but this was the best test I am hyped for season 2 now and cannot wait for it to come.
Wow very nice but left us all hanging dry. Does not feel like a proper ending to a season. I know tv shows wants to end in some cliffhangers that gives audiences something to look forward to next season but this one feel more like a midseason cliffhanger. Expected the titans to at least officially form and dicj grayson becoming nightwing before the season ended lol.
everyone complaining about it being a story filler really don't care about any sort of backstory or slight insight into someone's mind. the show would be way too quick and would end in a season if they rushed it like you guys want. stfu and enjoy. also,,, SUPERBOY!!!
As a stand-alone episode it was good. But as a finale? Terrible.
finally an episode the felt like it was from DC!!
I have mix feelings about this episode. As Batman fan, I love it. I enjoyed to see when Batman lose sense of justice, everyone is in peril. He is one of the most dangerous person in the world. If Batman embraces madness completely, Gotham falls in the darkness. He is his own worst enemy and this episode showed the consequenses of that. Everyone in Gotham was merisable because Batman became a cold blooded killer. In the other hand, this episode sucks as season finale for Titans show. It just focused in Dick Grayson' nightmare and sideline the others members of the team. It really was underwhelming and I can't believe that they decided to finish this show with this episode. C'mon, this isn't a Batman series. But there was things that a enjoyed like Batman losing his moral code as a mentioned before. I loved to see how Dick and Hank could have been happy if he didn't screwed up, How Raven and Beast Boy could have been normal kids. This what if scenarios was interesting. Kory was bland in this episode and I didn't care when she died. This episode was very predictable. Trigon messing with Dick head was one the moste predictable outcomes from the previous episode and it didn't suprised me. Overall, I enjoyed some parts of this episode as Batman fan and I hate it as season finale. I'm not sure if I'm gonna watch the next season even with Superboy coming to the show. But the scene after the credits was really cool with him and Krypto.
What? What? What? Where is the actual finale, please? Someone must have forgotten to put it in.
[SOMEBODY SAAVEE MEE playing in the background]
That after credit scene tho!!
Superboy & Krypto
Good as a filler episode but doesn’t work as a finale all that well.
Interesting episode. I found it a bit weird as well. But I still enjoyed it. I feel like Dick is playing Trigon at the end of the episode and he's just acting.
I think they are skipping the whole Trigon main story to give us Batman too soon. Batman should be in season 2 or even 3.
I wonder how many people didn't see the introduction of Superboy
That's the second time they pulled this of. This is like watching a different show alltogether and, to be honest, the one potentially more interesting right now.
Really? They’d have the joker in a regular hospital bed with regular cuffs? Try a bit harder for realistic.
I’m not sure I’m a fan of whole “what if”, it mind-fuck episodes like this. A fabricated story inside a fabricated story. We want to believe one, not the other. We know it isn’t true in relation to the first, so in a way it’s all void content.
If the other episodes were good as this,it would've become my fav.10 stupid episodes followed by a masterpiece
This Gotham looked more like the real thing than the one in the series named after it.
A weird but welcome choice of making this the finale. It was great to see all these batman-villains mentioned in the way they were, offering viewers a way to see what could be. I'm looking forward to the new season and the spinoff "Doom Patrol"... I doubt I'll be able to watch those in one day like I did with this one but we'll see.
Great show!
Decent episode in an overall good season but a terrible season finale. Think the show would have benefitted if it had two or three episodes more to flesh out characters and story.
kind of draggy middle part. ends well. hint: wait for the end credit scene. sets up for an interesting second season
We’ve finished season 1 and we don’t have the Titans yes. It’s ridiculous.
Is that superman's clone or superman?
