some really good camera work on this show. really liked how in the scene where naz and the detective were talking the shooting angle would once in awhile change just so the cell's bars would look almost like a solid wall, showing the disconnect between the characters and farther enhancing naz's entrapment.
I felt like cheering when Naz decided to tell Box to f$%k off, in so many words. Watching cops (fictional - I know) playing games with suspects gets me riled up.
Big step down from the fantastic first episode. Still good, but the pacing is definitely a bit slower than it needs to be.
First episode is really good. I can feel myself getting hooked!

You can totally feel the pain Nasir’s parents are feeling, my heart breaks for them.
So my theories are that maybe Andrea had another partner and he got into the house and saw them together and killed her out of jealousy? Maybe the step dad? Or the neighbor who called 911 about the break in? Or the friend of the other witness who identified him, cause when asked the witness said he was alone, so where was his friend?? Other theory is that somehow she did this to herself? When they first meet she gave me suicidal vibes, like she wanted to go to the beach to kill herself so I know it’s physically impossible but like maybe she asked him and while he was on drugs he agreed to?? And another theory is that maybe he did it because he snapped or because of the drugs and he doesn’t remember?
