So Carrie is framed as this hokey southern(or mid West?) America type that Bette just turns her nose up at constantly and she absolutely cannot grok why Tina and Angie fine her so charming. But maybe that's just it, coz she's so chill, down to earth and real with no airs and graces.

I'll loved Bette and Gigi's slam in the restaurant coz I love great word banter and get the need to be reluctant to like your exes new beau. But that moment between Carrie and Tina shortly after really highlighted what Tina sees in her. Carrie really cares about her and actually listens to her point of view. Communication and wavelength was always an issue with Bette and Tina.

I realise this is a battle I'm never going to win, but just like its predecessor, Generation Q would be my ideal TV show if it just curbed its soapier instincts by, say, 15 percent. Or, basically, whatever amount that would keep its writers from making the sort of choice they did for the ending of this episode.
