This season has turned into a bloody soap opera. Really disappointing actually.
Casting for Marco is goddamn amazing. Dude is exactly like how envisioned him. Also love that they are introducing him this early. Will make the eventual payoff in Season 5 even better.
I don't know where the plots will end, but at the moment I like it
What an absolute disappointment this season has been.
They magically (in just a few episodes) made me not care a single bit about any plot lines going on in the show, and despising ever character.
The dialog is much weaker and less witty, the pacing seems erratic and random as well. The characters are making choices that are (for lack of better term) out of character (obviously just to move the plot along)... It just completely lost its edge. I feel like I'm watching a puppet move along for plot and not a real human with conviction, emotions or common sense. Purpose.
While watching S01-S03 I Could not stop watching for a moment. I was glued to it. Now this I find myself bored (for the first time) with the series. It feels like GoT Season 07-08. The show got too big for its britches and dumbed down to the point where we hardly recognize it anymore.
it went from a razer sharp show with meticulous writing and intricate plot to a show as dull as a plastic knife. I'm actually heartbroken.
Amos running up to the group of armed men to attack them with his fists was stupid and reckless, and he could have died right there, within reason. So we guess that Amos did it because it was of such an emotional outbust from him. Tell me, is Amos known for emotional outbursts? Or much emotion at all? Stupid.
Why is the security guy trying to make an enemy of Holden, who would be a valuable ally. Stupid.
More boring pirate storyline. I don't like the story introducing Naomi's ex, and he's annoying. It's also stupid how he was about to die and then talked his way out of it. It's stupid that Drummer gave him life. She was completely for killing him, and talked about it on and on, then suddenly changed her mind at the last minute to "avoid a civil war" Stupid.
More boring Draper storyline. I don't buy she would genuinely join them. Maybe she's just waiting for a chance to escape or get evidence on them.
More semi-boring conflict between inners and outters on alien planet. And the alien structure we slowly get piece by piece information of.
I mostly like the characters involved, though they're doing some stupid stuff, and after the first 2 episodes the storylines have gotten boring.
Realistically from the very start, Earth would be massively OP against Mars, and Mars would be massively OP against the belt. But that wouldn't have made for a dramatic story, i guess. It helps when i think of this as Earth had an alternate history that led to this.
One certainly cannot blame Bobbie for joining them after all of the shit she went through. It seems like Mars really has changed.
The scenes with Marco where also quite interesting. Drummer and Ashford's trick was pretty clever (even though it didn't work) and it turns out that there are quite some tensions between the Belters while the stakes are already quite high as it is.
Jim was really pissed at the end but Murtry really deserved that!

Only problem I have with the plot is I don't care one bit for any of the factions. Belt, Mars, Earth - doesn't matter. They all have their own agendas. I want to know about the alien stuff and that is moving very slow.
