5x08 Ian Garvey

At first I dreaded the episode. A Tom-centric one... goddamn couldn't he have done that with his own failed show? Liz's reactions were over the top and unbelievable. Noone of the main cast had any substantial screentime and even Reddington was walking around like a mere sidekick.
I rolled my eyes when he forgot that he got shot and didn't for some reason feel or understand that there's blood on his finger but yeah... screenwriting is hard apparently.

But in the end... I must say... BEST EPISODE EVER! Tom Keen is dead! No more Tom Keen (except for flashbacks I guess). Even the "heartwrenching" scene (sarc) that played Disturbed cover's "The sound of silence" agreed that whatever was said between the two wasn't important enough for anyone to understand (Cause I quite frankly couldn't hear much of their interaction).

Nevertheless it was a nice scene and something did -albeit slightly- stirred in me.

To end: daring way to end this episode and the whole "one year coma" twist.

I knew the moment Tom found out the truth we wouldn't survive. The writers went the easy way.
I get that four stabs in the specific regions of the abdomen can easily kill Tom but Liz gets punched a few times in the head and falls into a coma, really? It still doesn't make sense if the doctors put her in an induced coma, she didn't sustain such aggravated injuries as they showed us. Oh and I hate these slow-motion fight scenes....

Great episode and very intense. Wish it had ended differently but I’m sure the show will only get better. It’s not knowing that sucks. I need spoilers.

A lot of people are saying that Liz entered on coma because of a punch, I'm pretty sure she hit her head when she feel (the same way Hitchin did, and she died because of it). Anyway, great episode and outcome, looking foward for the next episodes.

Thank God Tom's dead!!!!!!! Best thing ever happened in this show.

So tired of the suitcase storyline. So Tom gets stabbed in the gut 4 times and Liz gets punched in the head, and they both are critical. Hmmmm. Kinda hope he stays dead. The music was terrible too.
