But that ending was unexpected, so overall this was better than most of the previous episodes.

Overall, it was a good episode. While not as great as I'd like it, for me it's definitely the best episode of this (admittedly mediocre) season so far. I'm really looking forward to the next episode ! Something that hadn't happened with this show for quite some time.

The very first part was great ! Well shot with no CGI creature bullshit. And the part where they followed Marie-Jeanne was probably also one of the big reasons why this episode is so much better than the rest of season 5. I remain, however, unconvinced by Crystal Reed's performance, and the family link to the story was not a revelation at all for someone who had been paying remote attention during the first season.

The fight in the school felt like a filler that was here to lead to the revelation of the end of the episode. I found it uninteresting (also why is nobody afraid to fight in front of other students ?). As for the revelation itself I do have to admit I didn't see it coming, although I am slightly disappointed by the way the whole thing ended.

Very poor acting from Crystal Reed and those accents were the worst in TV history. JD should have had them speak actual French, with subtitles. Subpar episode, from one of the most mediocre shows on TV. Shame really, because the earlier seasons were stellar.

Now that is a plot twist.

The big reveal wasn't so unexpected, he was the only teen who wasn't a chimera or part of Scott's pack already, and I figured they wouldn't introduce anyone new at this point. Want to see how they fix him without killing him though.

Now cant wait for next episode...
