Teen Wolf: Season 1

1x01 Wolf Moon

Excellent start to a pretty good series. If you like supernatural shows don't let the title frighten you.

i honestly forgot how great of a pilot episode this was. humor, mystery, excitement, drama, fantastic character intros - all reasons why this is a fantastic first season. the title sounds like some teen drama flick, but i've somehow gotten my 48 year old dad to watch it several times.

it's still strange going back and watching this 10 years later and seeing dylan o'brien and tyler hoechlin looking so young (i've recently watched maze runner and superman & lois so the difference is very stark.)

Let the Teen Wolf rewatch commence! I finished watching this series in Fall 2018, it has been 3 whole years!!!!!

Young Stiles and young Scott. Scott has emo boy hair.

Looking back, I think I prefer the later seasons even if the earlier ones were better tied together. Lydia and Malia and Kira were all such remarkably adorable and plucky female characters. By contrast, I was never really as into Allison.

The plusses of early seasons: a psycho Derek Hale, Argent, Jackson, tighter drama, and lots of Stiles.

Scott, our cute little beast, stole the show with his charm and epic athleticism, and the supernatural world revealed in this episode left me in awe. Jackson, the pretty bad boy, turned up the heat, leaving me eager for more locker room scenes. The bromance between Scott and Stiles, mysterious Derek, and the brewing romance between Scott and Allison kept me hooked. With a killer soundtrack and plenty of shirtless Scott moments, this episode kicked off the series with a bang! Can't wait to unravel more supernatural mysteries. :full_moon::wolf::muscle:

This was a solid pilot. It had just the right amount of corny teen paranormal melodrama. I especially loved the exchange between Scott and Jackson about "juice". The line "my mom does the grocery shopping" delivered so dopily by Tyler Posey was just brilliant.
