I somehow made myself finish episode 1 just to see if it gets better as it nears the episode's end. But no , it's too bland. The jokes are not hilarious and not original.
This is just a live adaptation of American Dad where Ted is Roger
9/10
Same humor as the movies. I loved it. Especially in the current world where nobody can take a joke anymore. Laughed my ass of. Watched the entire serie with a friend of mine. Hilarious!!
I was so sceptical about this, really didn't know what to expect, but you know what? this is laugh out loud good! I have laughed my way through each episode and implore you to watch it! You won't regret it
Full scale brainwash. Making fun from everything which is a cornerstone of civilisation, yet hyper political correctness, mixed with gender fluidity, lgbtqwerty and "social justice" in "positive discrimination" of men and white race. All what was good in Ted movie is twisted and turned into shit. Such a waste of potential, money and entertainment.
LMAO I mixed up Ted with Padington. (I haven't watch ted movies). I was scratching head for 10 minutes. I remember padington being a british bear. I thought padnington came to USA and started acting like this.
Really enjoyed the dark comedy and family dynamics in the show. This had the perfect blend of stupidity and heartfelt moments.
I really liked it, i loved how they stressed every story to a level beyond logic !! I cried with the "Alive" movie dialogue.
This must have a second season!
What a great idea to create a Ted show but base it in the childhood timeline that we did not get to see it the movies. And to make it better it’s as teenagers which makes the dark humor even better and add fuel to it. Not much of a plot as it’s just goofy episodes following the life of them as teenagers but it’s well done and just absolutely as hilarious as the movies. The casting is great for John and of course it wouldn’t be this good without Seth McFarland.

They had to ruin it by adding needless woke characters.
Its supposed to be the 90's , i guess Seth sold his soul to the dark side.
This Show was great..If Cancel culture didn’t exist this is what Sitcoms would be like..Not afraid to bend the Rule a little..This felt like a Alternate Version of Family Guy but instead of Brain The Dog, It’s TED..The House looks just like The Griffin’s House tho..This was Funny and worth Watching..If they can get away with TED, then a Live Action Family Guy would be no Problem to do..Can’t wait for Next Season..
Despite having more barbs than a fence at Eagle Pass Seth still refuses to make jokes about certain groups.
200/10
Just bloody great……
Two finger salute to all the woke snowflakes!!!!
Contradictory feelings here.. Ted is Ted which is what everyone was expecting. Didn't disappoint. Loved the parents, they were hilarious each in their own way. But then comes Karen.. I mean I get that she's got "progressive" ideas and that's good for creating some situations. But did she have to be that smug?? Yelling and speaking shit to her uncle like he's a misbehaving kid, manipulating and practically forcing the parents to go to therapy. Even when Susan didn't wanna teach, she was like shaming her for "not having ambition" when she said that she wants to care for her family. At a certain point, I was like: Yeah I get it.. she's portraying a modern woke snob who thinks everybody should agree with her and she's gonna get called on it. But nooo! She continues to belittle and shit on everyone and everyone was fine with it. There was a moment when Matty apologizes to her and tells her even if he doesn't understand he doesn't want to upset her and she continues to have the same entitled attitude like wtf what more do you want. They ruined a great show to serve an agenda. And if you want people to think like you, maybe do it via a relatable character not someone living in their own bubble, but I guess that's hard for you because you, yourselves, are living in a bubble.
2/10 They try way to hard to be funny, but it's pathetic. Some parts are funny, but most are elementary . Like watching people make fart noises and laugh. I need more substance .
laughed a lot during this show, which seems to be more rare these days.
I haven't laugh so much with a show in a long time. Good to see some jokes and humour that no one dares to use by today standards because is “offensive".
This time Scott Grimes is the dad, and Seth McFarlane is the son. Or bear. Whatever.
This is really the best thing around since a long time ago.
If you're a MacFarlane fan - it's a must for you but actually by reading this review you've already seen it.
But if you're just wondering here - it's great even so.
It's funny (I laughed here and I don't remember the last time I laughed from TV)
It's honest,
It's NOT a cliche , the script is original and counter intuitive to other shitty cheap shows,
And best thing-
ITS NOT WOKE AT ALL!!!! ZERO!!! Every character is there because it fits the story and not to fill up some policy!
This shows give me a sliver of hope for TV and especially American TV.
Thank you for this.
Giorgia is so fun, she's a charming actor, and a just beautiful person.
Highly recommended.
Within the trend of reboots, sequels and remakes of successful classics, this adaptation in sitcom format of the original films works well because it has the ability to transfer the story to 1993, which allows it to adopt the tone of youth comedies by John Hughes and at the same time being ironic about the format of family series that was developed in the nineties. It maintains the relationship between John and Ted in a more balanced way than might be expected and achieves some notable episodes that recover a certain retro spirit under the ironic gaze of the present.
This is better than the Movies, no kidding. Just watch it
10/10
Was never a big fan of the films, and don’t really like the show. Some parts are funny, but overall don’t care if there is a second season or not.
I think this is supposed to be funny. i guess I don't get American humour.
could only stomach 10 mins. awful
Was really looking forward to this as the movies were great.
Started off great, CGI excellent and jokes funny but oh the language. If I had a daughter who spoke like that at the dinner table I would suggest she find somewhere else to live.
Totally spoiled a good show, turned off after 20 minutes.
This is what you call comedy, take notes Netflix!!
Like early years Family Guy. Can it stay fresh next season?
when does it get online
?
