This episode sure felt quicker than the one before it, though the scene where Kirito and Asuna share a roll is easily overlooked for the drama before and the action later. It's only upon repeat viewing that this scene stands out as it later turns out (not a spoiler, not really) that Asuna has a high Cooking skill, and yet, in this scene, she was not interested in information on a quest to acquire a rare ingredient. Agil also introduced, and first shown before his introduction in the first scene (he's the big guy with the axe, really can't miss him).
Another thing, here Kirito encourages Asuna to join the first guild she can, since he regrets not joining Klein's guild as 2,000+ people have died. He hasn't seen Klein, so he's not sure if he's among the fallen or not. This advice generally isn't good for Asuna, or Kirito for that matter, but he's doing the best he can. Though he does go a little darkside toward the end...
