I think this season was poorly cast tbh, with just a few standouts.

Hai is so bitchy. It continues this strange casting decision to cast the males at either end of the masculinity spectrum. Based on the sheer lack of strength among guys like Romeo, Hai, Daniel, Omar and even the departed trans male. - I don't know if Jonathan is truly that amazing, or the divide is just that big.

Daniel may be among the worst players ever. I'm not even sure why they keep allowing him to sit out back-to-back challenges. That was always a strict rule in Survivor.

Also, please get rid of Maryanne. Might be a sweetie but she's annoying.

Dan is (was) such an interesting player to watch, clearly overwhelmed by the strategic part but still trying to play and ultimately falling short because of really dumb decisions (especially two episodes ago.). At least he gave us that funny line while fishing, for "not an analogy guy", that was a great one-liner. I think Hai is the highlight of that tribe, now that's somebody who thinks, I hope he goes far.
