A very good show, highly recommended!
This is a highly underrated member of the Star Trek franchise! I personally rate this as a tie for 2nd place behind Next Generation (and tied with Voyager).
Do yourself a favor and just tune out the last four episodes - especially the last one. And skip that horrible hippy folk music theme song that should never have been recorded, let alone put on a Star Trek show.
I think casting Scott Bakula as Archer was a mistake, he's such a terrible actor - but he's likable enough in this show to see around it.
I think the main problem with Enterprise is what has also plagued other Star Trek shows (but to a much lesser degree than Enterprise) is the silly and constant time traveling junk. Some of it is entertaining, but most of the time travel episodes are corny and formulaic.
Star Trek always tries to bring the era that the show was made into the show itself and I've always found that silly. Every Star Trek has romantic references to 20th century pop culture (just how many pop culture references to the 1700's do YOU make?) and this show takes it a lot further with "Movie Night". I mean, come on already. That is like me talking about a play in 1705 fondly and naming the cast of it (hint: I can't).
In general I think this show is unfairly treated. The first season did have issues but the character development was strong. We got to know more about the Vulcan than from all the shows before.
Honestly a great watch. The series shows that even though much of corruption and madness run throughout the galaxy, there is always hope for a better future. Star Trek: Enterprise makes this possible from the point of view and the likeability of the crew. Jonathan Archer, captain of the USS Enterprise leads the crew on an unforgettable journey through space as an ambassador of peace. I could say for myself that he is one of the most influential character in this series, because of his tactics and quality of maintaining peace he and his crew were able to make peace with other worlds and unite with many different planets that have brought chaos to one another.
Quite honestly they blew it in the last season with the holodeck bs, time travelling shenanigans and the Romulan tech that brought the viewers nowhere.
There is a lot more I have to say about the series but you should just give it watch yourself.
9/10
Screw that intro music. I love Star Trek, but damn. I watched every episode and this was the worst of the series.
From the point of view of someone who watched half of the show in 2001 when it started then lost interest, I'm not finding any reason to like it. It's still lame halfway through season 2 upon a rewatch (trying to get to the stuff I missed, since it's apparently better). So many filler episodes with pointless rehash stories that have already been covered by other Star Trek series (I am a huge fan of TNG). With the advent of more modern quality TV shows with over-arching stories, it's incredibly obvious how many of these "plot in a bottle" episodes could simply have been thrown out to trim the series for length and improve it overall.
Other than having to mute the god-awful theme song, I'm loving this series.
Most of the actors did a good job...except captain Archer. Scott Bakula ruined this show.
enjoyed this ... pity it ended
Third time watching this show! Amazing! It's a pity that we only have 4 seasons... I agree it was unfairly treated. The theme song is wonderful and it reflects the values and dynamism of the show. The character development was nice and it created memorable characters, each one distinct. Archer is a fine captain, quite different from the other starship captains. But it's understandable, since he is the "first" captain of a warp-capable vessel...
This show is super underrated, and for whatever reason gets a lot of undue criticism for the stupidest of reasons. We get a lot of great cannon from this show. Several episodes deal with Andorian’s, one has Tholian’s, we get back stories on Vulcan’s and the Augments. Some of my favorite episodes are the multi part ones like Shockwave, Borderland, The Forge, and In a Mirror Darkly. The ending is the worst part. The show and everyone involved deserved much better.
As time marches endlessly onward, Enterprise rightly earns more and more respect. It isn't devoid of plot issues or standard Trek-problems, but it manages to tell an engaging story with reasonable characters. It won't have you returning endlessly like some of its counterparts, but you won't regret giving it your time for a solid watch.
I do like Archer, Tucker and Phlox.
I don't like the theme tune, Reed, Mirrorverse or the ending.
Seasons 1 and 2 were OK but the who Xindi plot in Season 3 and the changes to make it more "military" were a poor choise.
This is a great show!
Porthos was the best character of the whole series.
_P.S. Never watch the last episode not worth it and will make you angry. _
Still the second best Star Trek Show in my book.
Its a tragedy that they canned the show before fulfilling its true potential.
As with all "Star Trek" shows it looked and sounds gorgeous when it aired. Scott Bakula embodied that Wonder and Exploration look that a captain in the first years of Space exploration should have and Jolene Blalock managed to play both sexy and intelligent Vulcan even if the writers had no clue how to write her character. There is some fun and engaging storylines in the last two seasons when writers try to connect the old with the new and I love these ongoing storylines. There is also bad stuff with this show. Anthony Montgomery was totally underused and ended up as the series' Wesley Crusher, I can't remember anything important he gets to do and the theme song was gruesome. The first two seasons had a lot of episodes that went nowhere and had some of the most boring opening scenes put on T.V. It also had a lot of stories that remade older "Trek" shows. The show must have one of the most pathetic final episode of a show ever put on screen. It lacks any punch, memorable moments or feel of being the last show even if it returns two fan favorites from a different "Star Trek" series. Maybe they tried to give it a kind-of full circle feel but they failed. They should have done a proper ending to it.
Star Trek is something I love, but this one took some effort getting through. Did like how the series progressed, but not a big fan of the abrupt ending.
This marks the beginning of another Star Trek TV series and one that is not lacking in any of its trademark elements, such as the geeky humour, strange looking characters and the bravado of the ship's Captain. However, being a prequel, it does manage to feel more current and less idyllic. As for the crew of the Enterprise, it is still diverse and likeable, while each character seems to have been imbued with an individual sense of purpose.
Thank you Netflix to let me skip the awful intro with the skip button. I don't get it. The music is good so why so bad "main titles" when it's very very important to have good titles :( Other then that, very enjoyable show
It is a good show but Klingons, really. Does humans contack Klingon's before Federation? I don't recall that. This is a serious mistakes about timeline of Star Trek universe.

The last true Star Trek. Such a shame it didn't got the end it deserved.
And No, I don't consider the crap JJ Abrahms puts out Star Trek.
