I’ve generally enjoyed this season, but jeez oh this episode was total shite. Absolutely predictable pointless rubbish.

Okay, this was a bridge episode. But had it to be so very boring? Did any previous Star Trek series ever have boring Mirror Universe episodes?
The only mildly interesting elements were the exchange between Mirror-Saru and Mirror-Georgiou and the other was about this unknown being and its portal. And the latter could have been so much more than just a decent time filler.
That probably wasn't their intention, but despite considering the Mirror Universe crew very unpleasant dull beings, I'd actually have to consider if I'd rather want to see a series about them. After they killed their Michael Burnham ofc.

Oh I love this Awesome show so much and I can't get enough of all the
Time Travel and Parallel Alternate Selves Universe
stuff and Star Trek Discovery is the Perfect Show
to get my fix for that.
Somebody give Michael an Emmy for her acting already, the range and the passion she has is off the charts and second to none.
As always this was such an interesting and fascinating episode and I enjoyed every second of it.
It was Super Awesome to be back in the Mirror Universe again and seeing philippa this time around doing things differently with the insight she has gained from being apart of our family. Speaking of,
that was so emotional and touching the goodbye from Suru and acting Number 1
Tilly before her and Michael left. This Show is frickin Awesome and Perfectly written.
Now he's an interesting Entity down on the planets surface, Fascinating, seems like he's packing some power and mad skills, remind you of anyone.
And we're back to the parts of the show that I don't like... :o Time travel and parallel universes are already annoying for various reasons but the Terrans are just the worst (seems like an unpopular opinion here but I don't even like the Terran Georgiou). I also must admit that Michael's weird (over)acting is difficult to watch sometimes (but IMO that's at most partly the fault of the actress).
Anyway, seems like there will be at least one more episode like this one but hopefully things'll get better then.
The Star Trek mirror universe episodes were usually campy fun, but this is just boring. Boring enough to have an exposition dump in the form of some theatre. A couple of filler episodes this close to the end of the season seems like a poor choice. Georgiou had nothing to do through this whole season, and it feels like they've slotted this in to have the character do at least something.
David Cronenberg is the best thing about this season for me. Nice to see Paul Guilfoyle in a roll outside of Jim Brass.

Ok, most has been said by others, leaving me to say this:
Why wasn't Tilly as first officer in the meeting with the admiral (yet Burnham is)?
Burnham might be there because she is the highest ranking member of the crew (thus probably still next in line after Tilly), but Tilly not being there as acting first officer makes no sense.
Seems like she was just made 1st officer to make the Tilly-Fanclub happy.
Coherency isn't this shows strongsuit
Also: Did they run out of money?
Killy does the worst job I've ever seen announcing her emperor. An announcement is supposed to command respect (The dude in Season 1 did a very good job at that).
For next time: Downpitch at the most important part is bad.
Also: more enthusiasm at "Long live the empire!" - You are playing a space Nazi for fucks sake, act like it...
Michaels performance as her Mirror wasn't much better, but in her case it had to be her.
