I don't like this episode at all. Is that's supposed to be Bashir's (or Ross's as a matter of fact) In the pale Moonlight? A chance to get your hands dirty for the greater cause? To walk the thin line between wrong and right? To test whether you can control the situation or if you're being played? Bashir's chance to become a serious character? Equipped with a dramatic episode title in Latin? It didn't work. Bashir is my least likable or interesting character aboard DS9. And the only thing I can think of in the end is: I would have preferred that the funny spy Bond-Bashir had returned in another holo-episode. Even if that meant that there were too many holo-episodes in season 7.
