This show is so dumb. Poor writing. Horrible acting. Why am I still watching this crap?

Some good stuff with Ruth here, but the pastor twist was way too predictable. Lots of lazy writing. It's a shame, because there are definitely some strong characters in this show, and parts are quite promising. But the side plots with characters such as Bess are just straight up dreadful and borefests.

That priest was suspicious from the start, had him on the top of my list, him and his little Wilford shrine... they more than foreshadowed that one, it was basically right in our faces. Till just needed a wee bit to put the puzzle together and find proof.

Loving the character development in Ruth.
Not sure what to think of Audrey. She did go back to Wilford fully prepared, or so we were led to believe. She knows him better than anyone and she knew what she was getting herself into and whom she would have to be, to succeed. So her actually falling for him and being on his side, is quite out of character. I don't think he turned her. She must play her own little game there, terrifying as it might be seeing how it affects others. But... going so far as to sabotage Snowpiercer and all that... I don't know. It would be lazy character writing if she really was on his side. Plus we need some big OHMAHGERD moments and the such in the future.

Let's see.

Little side note: and the villain bites the apple. Classic.

A tv series with Sean Bean and write that the series has poop acting is the idiotic thing to write.

not sure why but this might be, so far at least, the best single episode of possibly the best show in television history. there is something about it and they got it quite right.

update: it would have been fantastic for Connelly to have been part of it as she is sublime, but even without her I feel the episode executes almost flawlessly on almost two seasons worth of world and tension building.

I did not like this episode so much either ... I am expecting the increasingly irritating but strategic Wilford taking over the train run by Layton the incompetent. The part with Kevin - is he alive? - was embarrassing to the very least. Wilford is sick to his rotten core. My only hope is Melanie but there is a long time ahead until she can come back I am afraid.
