Sex Education: Season 4

4x02 Episode 2

I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I truly don’t think Maeve and Otis should be together anymore. It just never works

Is it just me or do other people also ship Isaac and Aimee??

I feel so bad for Adam

Enjoying some of the new dynamics like Aimee & Isaac and any of the stories that focus on the characters we know and love. I do not like any of these new characters though personally, and feels like we've added around 10 new ones for this season. Hopefully that changes in the next episode or two. Still really good but hasn't captured me as quickly as seasons 1-3 did yet.

This season is great so far I’m just worried that this is the last season and it’ll feel super rushed at the end. This doesn’t feel like the last season at all. Anyway, all that aside, I like some of these new friendships we have. I’m also starting to like Cal a bit which I didn’t expect since I didn’t like them last season. Also I could not tell Abbi was trans.

Edit: It has been 5 months since I saw the first 3 seasons, but I just realized Otis lost a lot of his maturity. Not sure why he has, so that is an issue I have.

They clearly concentrated too much on getting a diverse new cast and not getting people who could act.

Okay but the whole conflict between Otis and O is ridiculous. 'There can only be one'. Right so merge. There are people who may feel more comfortable talking to a woman about their issues, there are people who'd feel more comfortable talking to a man. If the two clinics merged and had two therapists as options then it'd open up more choice. Also LGBT therapists would be a great option - why ask a cisgender sex therapist about trans issues when you can ask a trans sex therapist? Why ask a straight sex therapist about lesbian or gay sex when you can ask a lesbian or gay guy?

As someone who has three horses, Adam's totally right they are kinda like big dogs. I mean they have very different anatomies but personality? Puppy.

It’s just got a bit too cringe for me. It’s hard to see any real character moments amongst all this over the top satire. This show seems to have relocated to some strange fantasy land that I can’t connect with.

Oops, Jean really got herself into quite a mess (literally)... :o
Otis was definitely right to call in some help!
But how f***ed up must it be that not even Otis knows the baby's dad?!? :o :D
I wish Jacob and Ola were back but I guess there isn't really much hope. I do expect to see them again though but IIRC quite a few actors left so who knows... - anyway, it'd be interesting to see their side.

"And what's the real reason?" - I love Eric! (not in a sexual way though :D)

Yay, Aimee and Isaac, again xD
"Lovely but just quite weird." xDD

"Otis, he's gay!" - That guy really messed with Otis' feelings - unintentionally and unaware :D (with some amplification by Eric and Jackson)

Rome is such a strange/weird character but interesting :)
The session between Rome and Abbi went so well that I first thought it was a dream...
It'll likely be interesting to see Otis and Ruby working together.

till season four Otis still very not firm of Maeve and anything can be his reason to leave...seriously?

I really like seeing the old characters again and I don't mind the new ones either. But I hate the baby plotline in any show and this is no exception.

I’m really glad about Aimee and Roman’s relationship being solved quickly
and O is iconic tbh

definitely an improvement for what felt like a rocky season premiere. i forgot to say it in my comment on the first episode, but i’m thinking an enemies to lovers thing is going to happen with otis and o :sob: i’m hoping they’ll just become friends but that was the vibe i was getting
