Great, great start of the season.
There's quite no other series that treats sex in such a healthy and positive way, without hypocrisy - and that small throwback scene of Otis and Maeve talking it through for Dex (and the King) gives an idea of how fewer problems there would be if we were taught that way.
BTW, what about that random 1917 running-and-falling reference!
Great first episode. The head teacher annoyed me the moment she started dancing. I dislike her. But a lot of stuff happened and I like Otis and ruby.
Hope gives me bad vibes.

The transitions in this were great. Although I lost completely track about who’s with whom in the first batch. Nice to see the transitions continue with the tea cup. Although I guess it stopped there.
I can’t quite recall why I don’t trust wheelchair guy but I seem to remember him manipulating Maeve or her phone or something. :thinking:

Something must be up with the head teacher, Otis moustache ugly as hell, interesting he will now be with Ruby.
Why the hell do one need to get all the way naked to measure the penis? It's funny. And since when does Otis be good at sex?
Looks like the time gap between S2 and S3 really shows. Some of the actors look quite different now and it looks like we missed some developments during the summer break. At least I got used to Otis' mustache faster than I thought. It's still a bit weird though.
I didn't find the first episode that great tbh (I guess it wasn't that funny) but definitely still good! This episode also seemed to focus on lots of developments at once so there might be more room for comedy during the next episodes.
The intro with the car in the forest at night was kina cool :D I just love cars, nights (but of course also daylight!), and forests xD
It was then followed by way more sex scenes than I expected. The one with Otis in the car was the most surprising. I didn't see him having casual sex with Ruby coming. And now they're even in an public relationship?!? Good for Otis, I guess...
Of course Eric couldn't keep the secret btw :D

And speaking of that: It looks like there's still hope for Jean and Jakob (after she finally told him...).

Anyway, the Otis and Ruby relationship is kind of what happens to a typical Harem/anime/manga nerdy protagonist getting the popular chic in their school or a regular nerdy boy getting his dream fantasy become reality in the world of Sex Education as what we have seen when Otis told his best friend Eric about his casual sex to Ruby.
I laughed so hard at the 1917 spoof. So unexpected.
Extra cringy and ultra ultra unrealistic, but still entertaining.

Whoever gave Maeve that haircut needs to be shot. Someone really looked at the gorgeous Emma Mackey and thought it would be a good idea to give her these bangs. Disgraceful.
Even though I ship Maeve and Otis, he and Ruby are cute. Maeve and Isaac on the other hand are a big nope for me. I hope he stays firmly in the friend zone, but this show is a teen drama, so it could go either way at this point.
