I always hated Miranda. I always thought most episodes would never pass the Bechdel test because the four girls constantly talk about men rather than talking about her own hopes and dreams. And the writers didn't seem to bother. That's at least how I remembered this show. And it's true for the most part. But here comes Miranda and she explicitly criticizes this very fact: their discussions are always about men and not about them. Good that the writers are evidently aware about this (before returning to their usual routine).
