Really good mini and maxi challenges in this premiere! I was immediately rooting for Brooklyn when she walked into the workroom in that Mountie outfit. Loved it. I really wanted to see Soju do well, but for her to come out on the runway in ... that. Yikes.
i'm excited with these queens! i already like yvie oddly (even though she's kinda weird, she's intriguing) and brooke lynn. silky is annoying but a fun character (she's funny like jiggly to me, that funny expressions), and ru was so gorgeous this episode! her makeup, gown and wig were so on point, oh my god. and it's always great to see past queens participating. it was especially great to see raja, adore and manila :heart: i was hoping we would see some other winners and katya but ok, it was a cool first episode. miley is fun, tho 'best of both worlds' deserved a better lipsync, with good comedy lipsyncers - imagine like manila and dela lipsyncing to best of both worlds, oh my god! it would be everything. but yeah great episode, i think it could be a great season.

Looooved the idea for the maxi challenge. And I was so dissapointed Soju went home so soon. I understand that Nina West has been trying for so long to be on the show but seeing that's the only reason she was saved, I think it's unfair she wasn't in the bottom for what she actually brought to the runway....

A really strong start to the new season that shows the main programme's still got it, even if All Stars needs putting into storage for a few years. Miley was a great choice for guest judge, too.
