[7.8/10] Fun episode. The sketch with a random polar bear accidentally getting Superman’s powers is the sort of combination of pop culture and utter absurdity that I come to Robot Chicken for. The Nerd going to Heaven and just asking about what happens in various movies and TV shows was amusing. Link getting the “treasure chest opening” sound when unhooking Zelda’s bra was a silly but solid gag.
The TNMT using the famed pizza-tosser tank as a metaphor for police militarization was a little too much. The Mr. Game and Watch sketch felt like darkness for the sake of darkness. But the piece de resistance was the Barbie/Gone Girl mash-up, which managed to riff on the movie well, while fitting it into the specific quirks of Barbie.
Overall, lots of laughs big and small in this one.
