And I’ve said it multiple times but I’m so disappointed in this last season :( like yes okay set it in the 50s but give them their memories or at least give them interesting storylines, like
Cheryl and Kevin only have going on their closeted relationships, when we were past that with them
Toni, Tabitha, Clay, Reggie’s storylines are centered in racism and discrimination
Archie is just there but has nothing going on
Jughead is not even there and when he shows up he talks about comic books
Betty is fighting the good fight for something that shouldn’t even be a fight, and she’s pictured as the only one obsessed with sex when they are just being teenagers
I think Veronica is the only one with something interesting going on

"Riverdale is a basketball town." Since when?! They've shown football and wrestling. Never basketball, until now. This is dumb.
I know this has come up before, but high school sports don't seek out recruits like this. They also wouldn't have a high school dropout from some other town come live with another player and start going to school here. That's weird as fuck!
Forcing someone to be on the cheerleading squad as a punishment is bizarre and would never happen. Like with sports, you have to try out to be a cheerleader. Forcing someone to be on the squad against their will, who will not want to be there and will drag everything down, would be a massive middle finger to all the girls who want to be there and do well.
I don't get why they keep referring to cheerleaders as "paper shakers." I've never heard that term before.
Very strange that Reggie is almost a completely different character. Everyone else is at least roughly the same.
Also, what is up with this super inconsistent racism? There's barely been any white vs black racism (there was the Emmett Till stuff, but that wasn't happening in the town of Riverdale itself) but now most people are suddenly super racist against Asians? This makes very little sense.
