Every other episode there's an excuse to put one of those glee rejects to sing... so, so, SO boring.

If this weren't the final season I would quit watching. Next to "Rise of the Pink Ladies" it is the most politically correct and woke show on TV.

Ok, so here's the thing. If they were doing some kind of alternate reality reboot of 1955 but with more modern sensibilities where things weren't so racist, sexist, etc-ist, I would get it. That would be fine, whatever, go do your thing. But they're not. They spent a lot of time in the previous episode about Emmett Till, very clearly establishing that this was still good ol' racist 1955. With that in mind, there is absolutely no way in hell that a male black teenager who recently moved into a town would be so open about being attracted to a white male, to the point where he kind of hits on him. Come the fuck on. And the same goes for Toni casually flirting with Cheryl. It just doesn't fly with it being 1955. What exactly are they trying to do, here?
