Important people of "Rivervale" like Archie & Toni are dying and noone reacts, like everyone is numb. Like, Betty saw Toni take La Llorona's place, didn't freak out at all, took the baby and continued her life. Did Cheryl cast a zombie spell on the town?
I feel obliged to just say 'what the hell did I just watch' after every episode of Riverdale nowadays. First off... I'm sorry but I did not miss Archie. Secondly... now we lose Toni? Thirdly... I wonder how they're going to go back to the OG story after these Rivervale episodes, like are we gonna act like it was a feverdream or alternate reality or did it actually happen and miraculously get undone? It's Riverdale/Rivervale, there are literally so many options.
It's just one WTF moment after another... but this episode was enjoyable.

WTF is happening at this point with this series? Really!? I mean, we're going through our sixth year watching Riverdale so let's face it, if we got this far, we, the survivors ones, are completely numb to the plots LMAO. And now there's La Llorona as well... Weird thought: I don't even think this is the worst season so far and I'm still guessing that they're doing this "supernatural season" just to fit Kiernan Shipka's Sabrina into the story. The long awaited crossover event. Probably this Rivervale thing it won't last long cuz I'm almost sure Archie is probably in a hospital bed, fighting for his life. I like to think that the last events of season 5 was a real deal and now it's all part of Archie's imagination. Probably it all going to fade after the 5th episode of this season... or not! Well I'm still waiting and more interested for a resolution of Betty's TBK storyline. Betty is what makes me still wanting to watch Riverdale. Hands down the best character! Always will be
Dude seriously. WHAT IS HAPPENING.
Ok, let me get this straight: Toni literally murders a kid, multiple people are aware of this and acknowledge it, but... it's all ok? She's not arrested or anything? Are gang wars some sort of legal sanctioned event in Rivervale, and murder is totally ok?
Not only that, but she's allowed to keep teaching students at the high school, where she's not just a guidance counselor, but she's now some kind of social studies or civics teacher. Wonderful. A murdering gang leader is a high school teacher. That's completely normal.
Why do they keep insisting on calling him Baby Anthony? Baby Anthony this, Baby Anthony that. Baby Anthony Baby Anthony. Are they afraid we're going to forget that Anthony is Toni's infant son? Anthony, who's that? Oh, Baby Anthony, why didn't you say so!
All of this is such a waste of time. Random, nonsensical, supernatural bullshit is just going to keep happening, and then at some point they're going to go ok that was all in the fake alternate universe, now back to actual Riverdale. I'm still flabbergasted that there's going to be a season after this one.

So I guess each episode one person of the main cast disappears til there’s no one left and then we go back to RiverDale?
Vanessa Morgan, thank you for bringing a Mexican folktale to life, and Toni’s character in this episode was phenomenal, I love it she gets her own time to shine.
