I aspire to have as much energy at 74 as Meryl Streep does.
I think we can all agree that Ben was actually talking to like a plate of cookies off camera and not a person in his dressing room. The question is then, who put them there and were they spiked?
Anyone else get Lucille and Buster Bluth vibes from Cliff and Donna?
“I come from television so I was trained to not question a script.”
Everything is not what it seems, so, I don't think Kimber did it, it is too soon to reveal the killer. I expect next episode they'll focus on Kimber but towards the end, focus will shift to someone else.
Meryl Streep and Ashley Park's voices in that lullaby was so great. Season 3 is amazing so far.
“I can’t cry.” “Why? Are you on Xanax?”
Theory: what if the two attempts on Ben's life were committed by two different people, potentially with unrelated motives?
I really liked Jesse and Selena's chemistry.
I unironically want to see that musical now, that song was so beautiful.
So Ben is obviously talking to cookies.
Meryl Streep's performance at the end is excellent. She's just amazing.
I'm not really feeling Selena's performance this season.
I'm leaning towards Donna or Clifford at this stage. Otherwise left field choice is Charles' girlfriend, wanting to spend more time with him.
Glad I'm not the only one in the comments saying that. Ben was clearly talking to a plate of cookies. I don't know if it was Rudd's acting always carrying an air of comedy or the way this show telegraphs all it's punches but it was painfully obvious with the setup from a previous ep.
Also 'Grey's New Orleans Family Burn Unit' is such a solid joke given the TV spin off culture of the US (and that show). Hitting even harder with a Grey's actor right there.
"do you remember what my doctor told me on my 8th birthday?"
"it is time to stop breastfeeding"
Oliver's face
"You should never give up on something you love"
Oliver's face
Best bit of the season so far.
Pasek and Paul strikes again
Looks like Mabel might have a guy love interest again. I guess they will switch up when sex she is attracted to every season.
Steve Martin especially is so funny!
Staring at Jesse Williams is all I need really, don’t care about how this season ends as long as he keeps showing his pretty face as much as in this episode
I got chills at the end!
I almost started this show as a joke, but I'm impressed with the things they keep putting in it to make it feels so alive and unique: what a development!
What a song!
The season is ok so far, but it's a bit soon to reboot Lucille and Buster Bluth. That show only finished a few years ago. The copy is very well done, right down to the characters' appearance and tone of voice.
But really, too soon.
Ashley Park is bringing her Mindy’s vibe to this show. Love it!!

An easy joke for sure, but Martin's scene of Charles trying to pronounce "meme" is still so good. And that showstopper ending with Streep!
