Damn! What a premiere! Paul Rudd's lively intensity, Maryl Streep's overpowering aura, the solidified complicity between our three favourite people in this show... Everything in tip-top shape! Excellent start to a new season!
Minor side note: I happened to watch this right after the season five premiere of What We Do in the Shadows and it felt like moving from something directed by Uwe Boll to 2001: A Space Odyssey. I'm so glad we have a whole new season of Only Murders in the Building to bite our fingernails to!
Continues to be a shadow of its former self and should have ended in after S1 but here we are. Rudd's character is a tale as old as time and they're really forcing everything to still fit together so they can justify this season and format. That being said Meryl Streep on my screen is always welcome.

Also, Meryl Streep is too big for this role, IMO.

I am immediately on board with a third season that's all about theatre. Paul Rudd is in his element. I love the energy and bite. The big twist of the victim showing up to his own memorial dinner, only for the classic Thing line to drop a few scenes later. Meryl Streep as an actress nobody will hire has so many layers I love it. This show remains a modern masterpiece.
