If the first episode is anything to go by, don’t bother. It was difficult to get through

NCIS: Sydney - :heart:x7

This is just as good or bad as any of the other NCIS shows. I enjoyed it. It's fun to see other locations and slightly different storylines aligned with another country and customs. Is it a great show? No. Is it watchable? Yes.

The Australian accent does take a bit of time to get used to.

How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!

I'm not a fan of the NCIS series, somebody told me to give this one a shot. Still not a fan

First episode is not the best, after watching 7 of them, I really like it, of course, is not as good as the original, but totally waiting for next season.

The writers definitely phoned in their work with this one.

The dialog is awful. I fell asleep midway through the 1st episode (it was late I was tired and it didn't hold my attention). So, I'm trying to watch the whole episode and there are more episodes now, so I'm gonna try for more than 1 this time round.

The lead actress doesn't seem to have many facial expressions. Wondering how she got this gig. Has she had any acting classes?

I doubt this will have a second season.

If it had some decent acting it might have been alright. Seemed a low budget spinoff. Turned it off after 30 mins, that was generous.

Possibly the best premiere of a NCIS spinoff, IMO. Likeable characters and a decent, if predictable, script.

Can't stand the attitude of olivia swans character. Other than that the series is OK but I suspect we won't see it renewed.

Oh dear oh dear  I'm a big fan of NCIS but what on earth have they done with this! The lead is so wooden if she stood next to a match she'd be in real trouble! No personality, no emotion, doesn't even change her facial expressions at all!

So much wrong with this, I managed to get halfway through the second episode, but it's now game over... If this gets a second season I'll eat my didgeridoo

As an Australian this is just ridiculous, crimes like this don’t happen. We don’t have access to guns like this, it’s just completely unrealistic. The American acting is tragic and out of place, the Australianism is turned up just a little too far for my liking. I forgave the first episode but by the end of the second I just can’t. No.

I'm only on episode three right now and to be honest, if Mackey was a male character people would have no issue (just look at House, Sherlock, etc.). But as soon as a female character comes along that doesn't smile and fit into the perfect little box, oh no! Honestly, I'm finding Cooper to be much worse than Mackey when it comes to attitude (whose back story is explained in episode one and shows why she would act this way), but apparently everyone just overlooks her rudeness...

I'm enjoying that they're making this show unique to itself, just as the other NCIS shows have done, and look forward to seeing how the team develops further.
