This season brought the show down in my opinion, I would have rather it just ended after the 1st and never watched this season at all.
Can't wait for it! Appears to be in January 2016
Great show, amazing season!... I don't think that file that Vernon had was about Peggy Carter, it just had M. Carter written on it ... not Margaret Carter... and OMG that two ending scenes! Souza and Thompson!... I was starting to like Thompson...kind of... but I'm gonna miss his character... :( ...

[7.5/10] After a fantastic first season this was a bit of a disappointment. Don't get me wrong I still had plenty of fun watching it but I also had quite some issues with it: First of all this is a personal preference but if could have chosen I would have not gone for such a supernatural plot especially because the writing on that whole zero matter subject was pretty underwhelming. The mystery of it was maybe engaging for a few episodes but after a while I just grew tired of it.
The same thing happened with Dr. Wilkes for me. I like the idea of the character - a black scientist who never got the opputunities he deserved just because of the color of his skin. I like the idea of them bonding over the unfair way the world treats them and their romance was fine in the beginning, the episode they spent together made me like them together but after he came in contact with the zero matter there was not one moment that made me ship them and him as a character also became more and more uninteresting to me as the show went on.
Whitney was an okay villain. Her motivation is pretty great (though I think they could've done even more with it), the actress is good, I especially enjoyed watching her when she was in power she aswell just didn't interest me enough but there was just something missing for me to love her character.
The comedy in this season seemed to be a bit more over the top and exaggerated comparing to the first one and while it had me chuckling quite a bit I prefer the tone of the first season. Jarvis (whom James D'Arcy does an amazing playing) was in my liking a bit too much reduced to not more than a comic relief ( a pretty good one to be fair) in the first half of the season but the direction they went with him after Ana gets attacked makes up for it. I quite enjoyed his character.
This series has a very lovely set of characters overall - there's so many fun ones! Recurring ones like Howard, Rose and Dottie didn't disappoint. Especially Dottie was a highlight in this season, she's a blast to watch and while I would have loved some redemption arc for her I'm fine with what we got because it was delightful. Samberly, Manfredi and Ana are fun new additions to the cast and Thompson arc which felt messy at the beginning turned out not to be bad at all.
Peggy continues to be an awesome protagonist to me. Smart, determined, quippy and just very fun to watch. Sure she could be more flawed but I enjoy seeing how capable and strong she is. If it were up to she'd throw on a disguise and an American accent and go fool people in every single episode because those part never disappoint! Her fighting style is so good to, it's so raw and I like how she uses the environment and throws stuff at dudes to win fights. I love when is paired with Jarvis, those two always make for a good banter or conversation. I wish we would have gotten a bit of her and Angie's relationship, maybe a scene before she left to LA since they live together... I don't know I just missed Angie and only seeing her in the dream sequence was not enough.
Now let's talk about my least favorite part of S2: the love triangle. Ugh I think besides the zero matter plot being rather weak this was the one thing that dragged the season down. The chemistry between Peggy and either of her two suitors wasn't strong enough to make this a love triangle. This plot was filled with cliches and not in a good way. Her and Wilkes' romance had a strong start but became duller as the season went on and it started to feel like he was just there to a plot device / to be in the way of her and Sousa's relationship. I wish so much that it just focused on Sousa and Peggy and gave them more moments together which I think is what they desperately needed: more scenes of them talking, laughing, bonding, sharing stories instead of just love triangle drama and jealous/sad looks. It's a shame because I quite liked the idea of them together in season 1 but while they had their moments here and there and their final kiss was great, the writing of this romance left a lot to desire.
I know I whined quite a bit now about all the issues I had but I still enjoyed watching this. I actually gave most of the episodes an 8/10 and while that may have been a bit too generous, it is true that I had fun watching every episode but as a whole this season wasn't incredibly strong.
I'm really sad that the chances of a third season happening are almost zero now. There's multiple open plotlines yet to close and Peggy's brother supposedly returning and being the one who shot Jack would have been interesting to see. Also what is Dottie up to? Please let there be a miracle and bring this series back, I need answers and I need more of the Peggy and Jarvis duo in my life :(
