The best episode of this show was the first one. The remaining was in the maximum ok.
Soooo, if, as the Major apparently has planned, the military is able to deliberately replicate the genetic mutation in new people, will it have the same effect as the 828ers; would the Death Date effect somehow still relevant (as those people didn't skip over any time) and, if it is, how? That plotline, with or without the Major, has some interesting possibilities...
"So, now I'm stuck in this marriage for good?" Micheala's thoughts, probably. LOL sorry, but that's the first thing that came to mind when I saw that convenient turn of events.
I'm not too sure how to feel about this episode, as a finale. On its own, it was decent and like every other episode, pretty much. But as a season (potentially series) finale, it hardly felt significant enough. Sure, there was the "twist", if you'd call it that, of Saanvi killing the Major, which was a testament to how tragic of a character Saanvi is becoming, and quite frankly, that's also contributing to her becoming a little annoying. She is a major (haha, get it?) "unbeliever" when it comes to the whole plane situation and a huge believer in science, and that is undoubtedly going to be her downfall. I mean, come on. That whole situation with her was based on wanting to save Zeke, like that would work, yet a miracle saved him and helped him overcome the death date. Even if she was present to see that, I have no doubt she'd still stay on her current track of becoming a more and more tragic character. But, hey. Thanks to her, the Major is dead (or so we're being led to believe), so there's that.
There were also three reveals at the end. No one found in the lake, and the completed or more complete version of the Calling that Ben has been having of the plane exploding, and one of the Flight 828 wings being found by some fishermen. Now, the latter is probably connected to Ben's Calling. And to take that a step further, in his more complete version of it in this episode, we specifically saw one of the wings fly off, towards us. I doubt that last part is important. Point is, the wing was blown off of the plane, which is probably why it remained intact and was found by the fishermen, despite how the plane itself returned fully intact. Whatever happened to the plane didn't happen to the detached wing because of that. At the same time, that doesn't explain how the plane itself returned fully intact when it blew up, just like the wing. Unless the rest of the plane is also in that same body of water, somewhere. Because the way I see it, if the plane "went somewhere", why didn't the detached wing come along, too, regardless that it was no longer attached to the plane? Then again, I seem to remember the plane pilot, Captain Daly, when he decided to fly back into whatever was encountered the first time, mentioned something or other, I don't remember what. But maybe the reason the wing didn't come along is that it was unable to go through whatever the plane went through because it became detached and no longer at that height. I have no idea. And as far as the other reveal goes, I don't particularly care about it. I'm sure it was expected by some people, and there is a need for villains to be the enemy to our heroes or whatever, but those three drug dealers were so insignificant, how could anyone care that they've seemingly survived, due to divine intervention or otherwise?
Regardless, all of that was essentially everything that happened in this finale, everything of importance and with a hint of progression. Everything else was related to the mission to save Cal. Honestly, this was a pretty lackluster finale. Of course, it is a little foolish to expect otherwise if you've watched the show from the beginning up to this point. This show isn't exactly the type to have super exciting finales, or exciting episodes, for that matter, at least to a bigger degree. I mean, it's not like I was expecting a lot more than what we got, but it's hard not to be a tad chagrin, in the disappointment sense. But that isn't to a huge extent, whatsoever. I'm looking forward to wherever this show is going, and I hope there will be a chance for that to happen, by getting renewed. And honestly, out of all the shows I'm still watching, and all of the shows that I've finished that I was watching whilst watching this one, this is the one that I was always the most mindful about, and, also, low-key wanting it to continue due to renewal after renewal. And now that this season is over, that feeling is probably going to become more apparent, so I hope it does get renewed.
Good episode, but didn't feel grand enough to be a season finale. A bigger clue to where the callings are coming from or the current whereabouts of the three kidnappers would have all made for a better finale, in my opinion.
I wasn't surprised at all by Zeke... I had a strong feeling a few episodes back that the writers was going to keep him around.
Wait, Saanvi offing the general was so badass! Why is she so upset? (I mean obviously offing someone must be traumatic) but the general had a very evil plan and she stopped her! So she could be less upset about it.
And I don’t know about meth but that little box is worth a million dollars?????!
And at first I was like oh I applaud the show for being brave and actually going there and offing Zeke but then that damn light! Hmmm I’m like apathetic to Zeke’s situation cause I haven’t make an emotional connection to him.
And come on, making some random low level drug dealers the villains for next season??? LAME!
An excellent finale! Cannot wait for S3!
Season 1 was better. In this season nothing has been accomplished. No one knows what happened to the plane and the passengers. They still don't know what the calling is about. Was that plane wreck in the sea at the end supposed to be THE PLANE? if so, then it's an interesting development that never imagined.
Who else wanted to slug the "good Samaritan."
I kind of hoped that Zeke will die. I don’t like him and hoped that Michaela and Jared will get back together. I don’t get why she chose the wrong guy.
The first season was ok so I was expecting at least it wouldn't be that but I was wrong just a lot padding and very little of what the show is actually about and this calling thing just got on my nerves after the 4th episode but I held out hoping it wouldn't get better but it didn't, this is like something that they would show on daytime tv yawn.
I can’t stand the General. Spoiler: so she got what was coming to.
Oh and that stupid nosey woman wanting to know why Michaela left a bag unintented.
Anyway, way better finale than last year. Definitely needs to get renewed.
so another year until season 3?
Great season finale! Not as shocking as season 1 finale but pretty excited to see what’s in store on season 3 =)

This show has been infected with the Corona Virus. Seriously that’s the only explanation for terrible season finale, horrible acting, that stupid Good Samaritan, and Zeke coming back to life. WTF??? I was hoping they got rid of Zeke...in fact it would be good if they kill off few other characters. I hope season 3 is Corona Virus free with better writing & acting.
