Pretty bad and cringy script but I'll keep watching to see what it develops into. Watching for the dad.
It was definitely cute! The characters are already likable and the “villains” are appropriately acknowledged.
But as someone who’s gone through a similar situation, I hope they don’t make this story too sugary and sweet, because this is a true-life battle that many people struggle with. It can be a really rough road. And I just hope it isn’t afraid to dive into heavy material despite being a Disney+ show.

In the pilot I haven't seen great differences from other gay teen dramas already available, except that Victor is a young latino boy. Let's see if there will be new developments in the next eps
