A holly jolly Love, Death and Robots Chritmas! (I'm watching this in September btw).
The Stop motion animation reminded me of some classic Christmas Specials (which I suppose was the intend behind it) and the first couple of minutes that was exactly the atmosphere it provided.
Based on the episode description I expected something like a Krampus twist thrown into the mix, but oh boy, was I wrong.
What we got is probably one of the most creative and horrifying to look at Santa deconstructions to ever occur, but that isn't even the best or most creative part of the episode.
What happens next is. The twist is actually pretty funny and so dryly delivered it works magic.
The creepy and uncomfortable atmosphere however comes back haunting with the chilling line the main girl character says in the end "what if we weren't good?"
Too funny. A message stronger than “A Christmas’s Carol” in just a couple of minutes!! I loved it.

Funny, nice work, but where are the robots? It is a deal-breaking for me because I'm expecting that concept, love, death, and robots in every episode.
Even through it's only June when I write this, but it's a good time to start behaving nicely :)
WTF? That was my least favorite episode so far...
IMO it didn't really seem to belong into this show and felt just unnecessary (if it would at least be something new but I'm pretty sure there are already enough similar stories). Tbh I just didn't like the story (I'm a bit of a softie...) and I'm mainly watching this show for the Sci-Fi concepts (mainly robots) and CGI.
I'm also not a huge fan of that stop-motion effect but at least the framerate was still pretty high for that.
