Looks like the series might be shifting up a gear in the intensity stakes, to see out the last few episodes. David Oyelowo has a great stillness and tell so much with his eyes while Forrest Goodluck's Billy, wears his heart on his sleeve. Barry Pepper fits so naturally into his role and adds a lot of depth to the story. The women are also good put don't have as much to do but Lauren E. Banks plays her role well apart from a couple of moments in earlier episodes where she seemed to be inserting modern Americanisms into her delivery. I don't know how the side stories relate to Bass' so they just seem like a distraction for now.
Barry Pepper's performance in this one, don't know what it is but is powerful
the writing on this one was bad, acting as always is top notch.
