After watching enough episodes, you begin to often accurately guess whether it will be a guilty or not guilty verdict, considering the evidence acquired and how sympathetic the defendant is. When i think it's almost certainly going to be guilty or should be guilty, i call them "slam dunk" cases. During this episode i kept thinking "it's a slam dunk" case for McCoy. The jury are not going to be sympathetic to a corporation that covered up people's deaths. Combined with the physical evidence, the expert testimony of the professor and the witnesses, i definitely thought this would be a slam dunk case. I actually got quite emotional when the mother came to McCoy and they talked. I'm glad he was forced to plea, i thought McCoy found a good compromise, and i think the jury would have found him guilty.
