I like the new ada, but she's not fitting in well with Jack's more hardline attitude to things. Which can be good and bad. It can be good to have opposing views sometimes, like we saw sometimes with Jack and Jamie, Serena and Claire. But it's also good to be on the same page.
The guy should have a very light sentence, but if i had to choose between the 12-25 and not guilty, i'd choose not guilty. He tried to phone the police about the situation, which i think is an important piece of evidence. And Jack talked about going to the police, but that's harder to do, he has to find them and then convince them and relay the license plate which he may not have memorized, and then the police may not even catch the guy. Still, his actions in the end caused the death of that kid and injuries to others, so maybe he should have taken some responsibility and done some time. On the plus side of his actions, it stopped a mass murderer though. Jack's cross was great though. His closing was pretty good too. I didn't think the jury would convict, and they didn't. I think Jack just really wanted him to take some responsibility and get a plea done. He may have been a bit too hardline in this case though.
