HOLY SHIT, SERENA FIRED... AND OH MY GOD, WHAT A CRINGE LINE FROM SERENA "Is this because i'm a lesbian" like WOT? That was completely out of nowhere and completely uncalled for, and her sexuality has never been brought up in the entire show. Wow, i'm just shocked that Serena just got fired. Branch was kinda right though, but wow. I mean Serena has been a good ADA through these seasons, but wow. WOW. Branch fired her, and Jack had no say. Usually when characters leave the show, they have a nice and friendly exit. But not here. Wow. The case itself was kinda lackluster, but wow, i didn't not expect Serena to just get fired.

I still think about this episode because if I would have paid close attention the first time around I would have noticed just how upset Southerlyn was about the gay marriage case in 15x07 "Gov Love" and I'd put two and two together and figured out she was gay then.
