I'm going to miss Lenny. He always had good one liners. He's been a staple of the show for so long, like the liutenant and Jack. Adam used to be too, until he left. And before him it was Logan.
In the past couple seasons, i've also liked the recurring police woman in the police station that usually has a few lines each episode. I also liked when i think it was last season when they alluded to a romantic relationship between her and Greene. But after that, they didn't give her anything else to do, just the usual few lines. I'd like to see her as a full detective one day, that would be cool, you know, joining the main cast. And also the i like the usual medical examiner and tech people.
Man, imagine people watching this show when it aired, and seeing Lenny for 11 years, and now he's gone. I've only been watching the show for a year or 2, and it's kinda sad that Lenny's going. But things always change, and so we'll just have to see how things are going to go now. I like Greene, so i'm glad he's staying. I didn't like the detective before him, as he wasn't as willing to bend the rules, and i distinctly remember him not having Lenny's back in court. Lenny was always willing to bend the rules a little in order to serve greater justice. It's one of the reasons i liked him. Another was his one liners. He was a flawed man in his personal life, but he always had a sense of humor. And we saw he went through some hard things though, like his daughter dying in one of the episodes. God i want more episodes like that, where it focuses on the personal life of one of the main cast. Like that one time when the lieutenant shot a person who tried to mug her. But that was like 5 seasons ago. Or maybe 10 or something.
While i'm here, may as well talk about the new ada Serena, or well, she's been in it for 2 or 3 seasons now i think. She's alright, i like her. Branch too, although he can be a bit too hardline.

It has been so hard watching the last two seasons, knowing that this episode was inevitable. I'm glad that Jerry Orbach got the chance to say goodbye to a role that he clearly loved.
