I wish olivia would have cracked him one more time
Regarded as one of if not the best SVU episodes overall, and it's obvious why. It's a good episode.
It's kind of funnily convenient writing that Benson has Maria repeat some rhyme over and over so she can have a conversation with Cragen and the rest during it, and then Benson unmutes and randomly repeats back some phrases near the end and that's enough to convince Maria that she was listening all along. Even though she was dead silent for 90% of it.

truly one of the most harrowing episodes of svu. i've seen it a few times during marathons and even knowing the ending i spend the entire thing in total distress
