The ending was a very saccharine kind of silly. Why would Nathan already have a foster family? Moments before, in the courtroom, he was still on trial for murder. (It was postponed because of the study hearing, but the trial was still ongoing.) They only dropped the case at the end, right before he walked out of the courtroom. So why the hell would a foster family already be arranged for him, much less waiting outside the courthouse, when he was still on trial and could potentially go to prison?
