The bit about teenagers memorizing the keypad and being able to text without looking - I've never been a texter really at all, and so I remember being blown away by my friend showing me he could do that back in high school. Of course, nowadays it's all just virtual keyboards.

When the girl was talking about being relegated to a 'home friend,' I knew exactly what she meant and how that feels. Same thing happened to me. It sucks.
I know it's a TV show and they wanted to have the dramatic look, but a girl like Lindsay who is bullied and has no friends wouldn't be caught dead at something like a school basketball game.
Imagine being a normal teenager not involved in any of this drama and going to school and having either paint or a dead pig on your locker because of the drama continuing that still doesn't involve you in any regard. With my luck, one of those lockers would've been mine.
