That's definitely an interesting situation at the end. But that guy already has 2 children, and he was only involved with Tyler/Steven's mother for a very brief amount of time. Would he really want to take in another kid, one he has no relationship with, and that's already 12 years old to boot? I feel like that's unlikely. I think the best situation would be to leave Tyler with the adoptive parents, but then allow the grandparents to see him regularly.
