So just going on the midway mark of this episode, why didn't they stop the boy's father (the cop) and arrest him? For obstruction of justice because he was lying about a murder investigation, and also assaulting his son when he forcibly grabbed his son's arm and hurt him, which they witnessed right in front of them? Of course the mother is also obstructing justice as well. The lawyer is an aggressive and controlling prick, I was wanting to hear him get told that he was fired, get out, it was close enough but not quite as satisfying. I wrote virtually all of this just before the midway mark.
