The fact that Kat openly admitted she's biased against men, in the tone of nothing being wrong with that, and no one batted an eye, is flabbergasting. But at least she did admit she was wrong later in the episode.
i'd say that the punishment doesn't fit the crime but i mean, abusers consistently get away with plenty more than this in real life. either way i'm nearly done with my full series rewatch and svu has barely touched on female-on-male domestic violence, i'm glad they addressed a lot of the stereotypes and misconceptions around it but do wish they'd do more storylines on it.

She got off too easy, only probation, child support, and on the registry for sexual assault and abuse. They should at least go back and arrest her again and charge her for making a false claim when she said that he assaulted her with a knife. That way she is not just on the registry but also on record as making false claims.
