When the wife was calling Benson, Brad Garrett was very clearly in the background, and he didn't look far away enough to not overhear the conversation. I thought that perhaps the wife was still on his side, and was trying to lure Benson into some kind of trap. But, no, it was just a poorly framed scene.
Mike Dodds became a likable guy, even if he was incredibly vanilla and boring. Sad to see him die.
I thought IAB cops were selected straight from the academy, and it's not something you could just join when you wanted to? In order to avoid having IAB cops that would be overly sympathetic towards other cops. But what do I know. I probably learned that from some other show, and it might not even be true.
EDIT: [Very minor spoilers for the next few seasons, but I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't give some warning] After watching a couple of seasons ahead, I remembered some of the things brought up in this two-parter finale and came back to share some thoughts. The whole Department of Corrections 'rebellion' angle that was threatened when Brad Garrett was being prosecuted never goes anywhere. It's literally never brought up again. Are we supposed to assume that they gave up on it once he went crazy and shot a cop?
The other thing is how weird Barba getting these random threats were. It wasn't even tied to anything else going on here, and it's never brought up again after this. What was the point of that?
I'm not crying, you are crying
I thought that Mike entered in UVE just because he's Dods' son, but he was a very good cop and conquered our hearts, I can't believe he died like this... Also, it was the first time the unit lost one of their own, it's sad

episodes that make me cry are a special kind of intense.
