An amazing crossover, better than the first one. I cried when I saw Nadia's body and I thought that the killer would leave innocent. Again, another crossover that makes me desire watch Law and Order SVU.
I'm re-watching this episode because I started watching SVU (lol) and now I know this is the most disturbing case I ever watched in all these shows and why. In SVU, we normally don't see the victim's story, so we know only what happened and the seek of justice. But knowing Nadia in Chicago PD, all the things take another level as we pain as suffer seeing her death, we know how unfair this is and we almost want revenge. I cried again, obviously. Hard episode guys, very hard.
I really like this Barba guy
They went hard with this crossover shit. I don't really mind it, but as someone who is currently only watching SVU, it's kind of a wasted episode. I'm missing two-thirds of the context here.
I'm mainly upset that they named this episode Daydream Believer, but they used a crappy cover of it instead of the original!
What a wild thing it is to be a recurring character on one show, and then have your character be killed off on a completely different show. Has that ever happened before?
Completely ridiculous ending. A serial killer who went undetected for over 20 years suddenly being unable to help himself and needing to indulge in his depravity in the middle of his trial is stupid.
EDIT: Now revisiting this while watching the One Chicago shows. It's actually a fairly decent crossover... but the requirement of watching all these shows in order to get the full enjoyment out of it is pretty steep.
Seeing the Chicago characters in a court room is really strange. There's just nothing even remotely like it in those shows. (Well, maybe in the short-lived Justice show, but I'm not there yet.)
Also, now that I actually know who Nadia is, I care even less that she's dead. She was a bad character. But it's still wild that she gets killed off on a different show, lol.
Very anticlimactic episode. I was hoping for more action and as someone who has never seen any law and order or law and order: SVU I was very underwhelmed. Chicago PD is so much more interesting in my opinion, I enjoy all the action in each episode. I am so mad at this stupid episode ughhh Nadia was one of my favourite characters
I think we can all agree that Barba's the best. Gosh, I love him.
I'm really not a big fan of crossovers. i refuse to watch yet another procedural because i'm barely into SVU anymore as it is.. so i ended up just watching this as background noise and caught the gist of what was going on. boo crossovers.
yes it's wrong. 16x20 will be a crossover with Chicago Fire and Chicago PD
This is a rerun from Feb 11th, (16x14 Intimidation Game), I don't understand why it's listed for April 29th? Think this episode is incorrect.
