this was such a crazy episode the first time i saw it, still acted incredibly, but also—i think rollins was right when she questioned liv's perspective. she never would've ignored the warning sign of unnatural vocabulary about assault like "uncomfortable" and "inappropriate" from four year olds at any other point in her career. she's picked up right away on coaching in nearly every other situation, and the minute it was staring her in the face with cooper she knew what to ask. things like this are why the acting in svu has always been a step above most procedurals, even with the turnover in cast over the years. there's nuance for all the storylines that extend beyond the case of the week, occasional continuity issues aside.

What an absolutely bizarre opening. I mean, I know it's an American Idol/The Voice parody, but it's so outlandish for Law & Order.

I never thought it was the teacher. I was surprised when it seemed like that's what they were going to end on, until I noticed there was still time left in the episode.

I knew it! Good episode though to show just how fast and simple someone can get blamed for something and the accused can't really prove that it didn't happen so therefore it's assumed that they are just guilty.

I say that the coach is innocent.
